Actually, it's made of upholstery fabric. I had so much fun making this. My girlfriend made one a couple of years ago and every time I see hers I kept saying I was going to make one too! Well, I finally did & just love it. I plan on using it to carry quilting "stuff" back and forth to my quilt group. By-the-way, it's a Sue Spargo pattern called "Victoria." That's another reason I had to make it ~ since Victoria is my name.
