So cute. How long did she try to hatch the end of the water hose?

Well Ginger goes back outside today to her nest in my front yard.

Zuzie- You can have a baby chick

Julie- Where in NC you live? You are not nutso chickens are fun and the are very smart. You could get a hen and your neighbor won't mind, now if you get a rooster you are asking for trouble cause they are loud pecially when they star crowing at 4 am. My neighbors are use to the noise of my ZOO.

Anne- Ginger tried to hatch the hose sprayer thing for a couple of weeks then she went in the barn and sat on a PVC elbow for a couple of weeks. She is a trip, I guess she really is the mama hen, last time she hatch 12 eggs.

Love the baby! I love chickens...we raised them for years. We don't have any now but DH would love to get them again..he loves country eggs. He is tooo lazy to build a chicken house though. I don't want them to run loose- they scratch up my flower beds and make me into a mean Mama

She's cute!!
What a funny momma she has! lol

I have chickens that run around my yard. I don't know where they nest, but every month, there are a bunch of babies following one of the hens around. Last week I saw 6 running after their momma.
