I am not one to make anything but quilts, but I saw this pattern for the bag and had to give it a try. It worked! Its the Mini Miranda Bag by Lazy Girl Designs. If you have never worked with their patterns, they are wonderful. Step by step color photos

That is really, really pretty and the quilting just pops! Looks great and functional.
