    Default My new pieced bag

Over the summer I made the MSQC Tumbler Bag and really really like it! That is until I got caught in a rain storm last week and didn't have my umbrella! I had to use my bag to save myself and it go totally wet! I decided to patch together one made from leather scraps I found online and used my Juki industrial machine. It was a lot of work but I finished it yesterday and just love it! And wouldn't you know, it's not going to rain again another week! I'm going save my cloth one for summer!

Both are very professional looking. Might have to re-think getting rid of my old suede jacket.

Very nice! thanks for posting them so I could see the T bag "in person". I got the pattern & materials to make two for DD and DIL for Christmas and life intervened so they'll have to get IOU's!

You did a nice job on the purses. I thought the leather one was purchased.

When I need leather I mostly get it from the thrift stores. Always jackets, skirts and pants at good prices. Also Hobby Lobby has scrap bags of leather. You just have to keep going back until you find some you like.

I hit yard sales too for leather. went to Goodwill a few years ago and got a fur coat for
my son, trimmed his bomber hacket for him till I could afford to have it done the right way.
he loved it. $20. yard sales and goodwill have great sales on leather and fur. got one in black with embossed leater on it to.

Your leather bag looks like it was bought in an uptown shop! Great job on both bags!
