I'm not really sure if this is a true turning twenty, but I did use the 3 piece square. I just don't think I turned them as many times as the pattern called for. By the time I made this one I was getting tired of turning them 20 times. Lol! I made a QS one for a wedding gift recently using mostly these fabrics. I had so many squares leftover that I just added a few more and made my dh one to wrap up in his recliner. He was picky, though- it needed to be a certain length- long enough to wrap around his feet and wide enough so no air gets in. ha! Funny boy! I bordered it in brown and bound it in red. I used a stencil for my first time- entwined hearts in the bigger square and then just fmq meandered on all of the rest. I'm happy with how it turned out. I liked having a little something more to do on it than just meandering, although I love that look.
