Pfaff is a wonderful machine. I purchased mine in 1994, I think it was the first year for sewing and embroidery. Mine would only embroidery a 4X4 size, but I stretched her limits with a lot of 'heirlooom' sewing (Martha Pullen was my hero at that time) she always did what I asked. LOVE the IDT, at that time Pfaff was the only machine with a built in walking foot. Sadly, a few years ago she had a nervous breakdown and would no longer embroidery. A year or so after that, she finally 'passed' and would not even turn her light on. Good machine, still shopping for my next one,I use my mother's Pfaff for quilting now.
