She is right about the coyotes. Luckily we don't have as much problem with them as we do feral hogs. Right in town. You can get a bat with a strap on it that is sold for getting out of a building to knock out the windows in case of fire. It is not real heavy & made by Master Guard. Called a fire bat. 30 ins long. This would be easy for you to carry. Just in case you needed protection if would give you a fighting chance. It's hard to get animals apart when they are fighting & then they may come after you. So be careful & watch your surroundings.Originally Posted by marla
I see .... we usually stay winters in Guyton ... which is about 30 miles west of Savannah.
Thank you Debra Mc. I try not to walk at dusk as it was just before this that i met up with them. I wondered why someone was letting their dogs run loose and thought it strange they were identical and slaavating as they follwed me. God was sure walking with me that day! (2 gray ones with gray eyes. Identical) Thinking of some kind of walking stick too. I will shop around and look for that stick your talking about. Someone told me to call the police. I called animal control but it was after I got home and did research on the net. They said the police would come right out and shoot them.
I'm not sure but bet that pepper spray would send them packing. That stuff is pretty potent. Also protect you from anybody else. I'm sorry, I have lived with law enforcement for almost 35 years & you learn to always be on guard of your surroundings & people.Originally Posted by marla
I haven't tried it but saw an email recommending wasp spray because it sprays a greater distance than pepper spray.
Wow!!! That is going to be a beautiful room when done and what a view.
Why yes, that is drool coming out of my mouth.. thank you for asking!
I don't think I would want to leave that room! My craft room is small and cramped and bursting at the seams.
I think it would be very hard for me to leave that house at the end of the year!!
