What model of Bernina is this?
#7
I have the 730 with the free arm and extension table - so it's not the exact same model. I love it, it's a workhorse and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. Mine was heavily used and I paid $100 plus over a hundred more to have it serviced. (I was able to replace belts and use it before serviced). The big thing with these is that Bernina is no longer making replacement parts, so you don't want to pay too much. If I had it to do again, I would have tried to bargain down a little on my initial investment at the estate sale, -- but I still don't regret it. I have a fantastic service person who is nice enough to show me some things I can do on my own and he knows we're going to "limp" this machine along until it's too far gone. I hope that's a long time
