i have on occassion taken a class- for fun- but i was dyeing my own fabrics years before ever seeing class offering-
there are 2 books i highly recommend to anyone interested in dyeing their own fabrics- mine seem to always be out- never put away-
they are:
the Fabric Dyer's Dictionary by Linda Johansen
and
Fabric to dye for by Frieda Anderson
i've been dyeing my own fabrics for more than 20 years- and purchase my supplies from Dharma Trading company
they offer lots of free instructions & help-in their catalog & on line.
pretty much every quilt i make has at least a small piece of something i have dyed myself.

Beautiful quilt and quilting. Your fabric is gorgeous and so is the backing.

Your quilt is great. I tried dying in a class I took and I decided it wasn't for me. You have mastered it!!!!
