Oldest Daughter and I went fabric shopping this past Saturday, I came home washed, dried and folded and put with others I already had, Sunday I did the same, takes a while to dry 6 yard pieces, they seem to want to roll into a tube. I bought 80 -85 more yards and found in another cabinet I had a very large piece of white backing, washed, dried and folded that and added to the stash.

Thanks for all the nice compliments. I think with all I already had and the additional 80-85 yards fo new fabric, I would have to live to be about 200 yr.s old - don't think I will make, oldest Daughter sews also and she has almost as much of me, guess she will be giving lots of mine away. I retiring in June and hope to make lots more. Oh well, at least I will have lots of choices.
I didn't get any special deals, just kept picking fabrics I liked, not all I liked though.

Wow I don't want to shop with you. You'd be very bad influence on me. Love all your fabrics and organization.

I'm jealous. Wish I could afford to buy 85 yards at one time and be organized along with it!

You are amazing! None of my stash is washed prior to sewing, except when I am in a swap or using dark fabrics. I wish I were like you and took the time to wash, dry, and wrap it all first! How fun to buy that much yardage at once. Beautifyl job!!! :D
