Default My Original Stockings for the new family

I started making stockings for my little family when I was pregnant with my second child. Emily was born on December 23rd and I embroidered her name on hers while in the hospital. I didn't know beforehand what his/her name would be! But I sure wanted it to be done when we went home Christmas day. This year she gave birth to my first grandchild, Malcolm, and he needed a stocking too. Each one I have made is unique and made up as I go along with a few elements that remain constant. Obviously, mom and dad needed new ones too - and so the project got a little more involved.
I saved some of each of the main fabrics for any new members of the family that might arrive in the future. They also feature scraps from the dresses that I made for Emily and her sister Sarah when they were little. And I love the results!
