I have finished 19 out of the 25 blocks so, no, I won't quit. I am too stubborn and cheap to do that. Just meant it will be a looooong time before I do another one and I won't do a stack'n whack in a compass block unless using symmetrical fabric. The problem with the idea, I discovered, is that the pieces for the background are definitely a certain shape and then you use the reverse for the "other side". So to be using asymmetrical printed fabric becomes a challenge to find a print pattern that you can flip and not get other print on the edge, if you get what I am trying to say. So the peacock fabric has been a challenge. The symmetrical print is a so much easier. This is all fabric I had accumulated for the stack'n whack peacock fabric that I so like. The colors are tricky. Not every batik that you would think works, does. I am color challenged and am trying desperately to learn the tricks and highlighting, etc., so thank you for your encouragement and kind words. Just six more to go!!!! Stay tuned. I had thought I would make it bigger, but that isn't happening now unless I can figure a WIDE border of some sort.

You have made some very beautiful blocks! I understand the crazy mindset. I have done some really intricate blocks in the past, but nothing with curved seams. What a way to work on your skill levels!
