    Default Quick quilt/throw

I needed a quick quilt for a last minute trip to my granddaughter's birthday. I had a Dick and Jane panel with a bit of matching fabric. I opted to make a throw and "tie" it with buttons and ruffles across the middle. The back was a cuddle fleece. So basically it was a little blocking and a little strip piecing. She loved it!!! She cuddles under it and told her mom she didn't ever want her to wash it cause it smells like Gramma and that's a good thing! Out of the mouth of babes!

    Thanks for looking.

How sweet...both the quilt and your granddaughter's reaction! Last month I quickly completed two quillows for my grandkids (ages 3 and 5), as we were going to visit the first time since they moved 800 miles away. On each quillow pocket I embroidered "Grandma Loves Lily" and "Grandma Loves Logan." They loved them, and liked learning how to stick their feet into the pockets to keep warm. It's great when they like what you made, isn't it?
