Here's a picture of my Grandmother's sewing machine I inherited. The paperwork is from when my Grandfather went to the factory and picked it up. I comes with a 10 year warranty bought new in August of 1914. I think the warranty has run out a couple times. It still sews beautifully.

NICE! I recently purchased a Davis NVF that is in a cabinet that looks like yours. I love my machine, and have already used it for straight stitch quilting and for attaching the binding. I think it is awesome that your Davis NVF has stayed in your family. You should come chat with some of us in Billy's Vintage Machine Shop. We have fun chatting about our finds and using our vintage machines to make quilts.
