it's looking good... i just watched the video in your link and Patti makes it quite clear. I missed the part of always pressing your strips to the even number at first... but that was reinforced later in the video. thanks for sharing and i'm sure your purples will make a very pretty quilt

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your bargello!!! You are doing an excellent job with it. I've made several and watching it grow is SO SO SO exciting! They are not hard to make and organization is key. However, fixes are easy, lol; I know that from experience. Keep the pictures coming!

Thanks for all the compliments. It does feel very good to like a quilt as it is growing instead of hoping I will like it when it is finished.

Yes, I picked out my fabric myself, but that wasn't so hard. Half of my stash is purple.

Ha! This is funny because I didn't realize there is a video! I printed my copy of this pattern about a year ago, but I wanted to attach a link to the pattern and just did that without looking at it very hard. I am going to watch the video and see if I learn anything new. I bet I do!!

I immediately thought of the New York City skyline that we see from our window. Love it.

I like you love purple and I absolutely love bargello quilts, I have been wanting to make this pattern since I watched the video when it first went up on you tube quite a while back just really don't know about all those seams. Maybe one day I will get brave.
