This is a lap quilt I made from Eleanor Burns "Quick Trips" book. I still have to sew the binding on -- which I'll probably never get around to ...

I finished this a while ago, but I recall it came together quick. I think I finished the top piece in two days, starting from selecting the colors to cutting and sewing. It measures around 60" x 70" ish.

The quilter sandwiched it up and quilted it for me. I don't do my own quilting ...

That's gorgeous Cordelia. I love purples and oranges/golds/yellows! You need to get that binding on. Quick, before you think about it too much! LOL You need to have that placed somewhere prominent. Soon! :D

I'm going to make another one of all prominent blues and greens and turquoise. In her book, Eleanor Burns' Quick Trips book, she has all blues with water lilies and tropical fish appliques.

She also has a gorgeous one she made with all floral prints and it looks like a color wash.

I'm going to make one of those too!

I love that book! It's the best book I've bought in a while. I'd recommend that book to anyone. It's a must have.

Really beautiful!

I think the binding might be my favorite part. It's like adding the frame to a picture. And it means you're DONE and you can move on to the next project!

Very pretty! I love all the colors. I hate binding too! If I bind one, will you? :D
