Okay, here is a picture of my completed top for my Quilting 102 class I've completed. I have it basted and ready to quilt but I don't know where to go from here. I've been practicing my stippling, but am not ready to put on my quilt yet. Does anyone have any suggestions on an easy way to quilt this and then what color thread would I use. I have the dark blue color as the backing. Any suggestions or ideas would be really appreciated.

I really like your fabrics! I don't have any suggestions since I'm fairly new at this.

What a great job! I handquilt (machine piece though), but I always have a hard time deciding how to quilt. Love this! Your fabrics are right up my alley....

Great looking quilt. I would take each block and decide what to do individually. The fan quilt I would highlight each blade and the half circle then in the white just do semi-circles. Love your colors.

I agree with diane, I would take each block and and quilt around it since it seems like a 'fun quilt' anyway!

Very PRETTY! If I were you I'd probably do stitch in the ditch. I think the easiest color to use would be the light color of the background in your blocks on top & then the blue in your bobbin for the backing.then you wouldn't have to be changing thread as often. I'd go around the design of each block & then decide how much other quilting to do & change thread colors then to match.
