She has been very busy this week making this quilt while I am here. She is now 12 and does a good job of sewing now. However her 7 yr. old brother doesn't like us not playing with him. He did learn how to make a pillow case this week and I got to see Scooby Doo 9 times. It has been great fun watching my GD blossom into a quilter. Thanks for looking at her work.

Cutting out the quilt.

Great job by your GD!

Any chance we could get a full shot of the horse "mural" on your wall?

Oh boy, do I love that quilt! :-D That is a great example for someone wondering what to do with blocks!! Did she design it? She's a natural either way!

I painted that on the wall last year when I was here. There is another one on the other side of the wall. My SIL has a Clydesdale.

Very nice quilt...think what she will be doing another 2 or 3 years. She will be putting alot of us oldies to shame!! Love to see the younger generation interested in quilting.

My grandkids all have murals of things they like in their rooms so my DD wanted this on her wall.
