We have a quilting guild, but I haven't been to it yet, I just started quilting, am not that great but love quilting and would love to have someone close to chat with about quilts, and coming to Tuscaloosa for a fabric hunt
LQS is Local Quilt Shop. Let me know if you are ever headed this way and we can get together. We only have 1 quilt shop now and Hancocks.

Ok, I will. And listen my daughter lives in Booneville, which is about 2 hrs from Columbus, and they have a really old house, but it is loaded with quilts and quilt fabric, very reasonable. I usually spend around $100, when I get back to the car, I say, I can't believe I did that, but I am always happy that I did, and we could go up there too. and then there is a very nice shop in Dekalb, ms and that is about hummm 1 hr going toward meridian, and it is stacked to the very top ceiling with fabric, but her fabric is $6-$12 a yrd, but great selection also. let me know. I work Do you?

It is so wonderful to have a space, big or small, where you can leave things out.
