    Default Big 9-Patch Baby Quilts

I don't remember where I saw these baby quilts that are made with only 1 yard of material. But you cut three different 1-yard cuts of material, rotate the different pieces and get three quilts that all look the same but different. I made mine out of flannel with a 1-yard piece of flannel on the back.

Smart! That's a good way to make quick quilts for giving or donation. The pink one is so sweet!

Great quilts! I love that pattern by one of our members. It is by Anita Grossman Solomon and she also has a book Rotary Cutting Revolution. She has great short cuts for some traditional patterns like the Arrowhead block.

This pattern works up very quickly. My guild made these out of fabric for adults and we donated them to several nursing homes for the clients in wheel chairs. We used a soft poly batting in them so they were easy to wash and
dry but would be warm enough to drape over their laps and legs. They were a hit.
