Does anyone know how to do a design wall? I heard homosote? was a material found at the big box stores then cover it. Attach it to the wall? How? I would have to ask someone at Lowes what it is and it they could cut it? I would not want it to look like a white board but something decorative if it becomes a permanent part of the wall. I heard that some use the flannel side of a tablecloth. But where would you put it to see your blocks?

What a bright, cheerful room for sewing. You gave me a lot of storage ideas.

I made one that can be taken down for storage, but easy to put back up.

I used a pvc small pipe(you decide the size and length). I put a heavy string through the pipe. I took a piece of flannel and made a tube that would fit the pipe. Slip it on then tie off the string. Hang using a nail or sturdy hook.

Beautiful room, so nice and bright! Clean too!

What is the silver covered table? A pressing table?

How tall are you and is there any usable space above your bed? Perhaps you could get someone to build a platform for your bed and storage/sewing area underneath? Anyone who loves the craft as much as you do just has to have that opportunity again. (( You being hugged ))
