Dear Greta,
I have been quilting for a long time, and I have seen thousands of quilts. So, I feel compelled to tell you that your work made chills run up and down my spine. They are simply stunning!!

CrKathleen, you can use any other sheer fabric (cotton batist, as example ). But the results will not be the same, because the batist it isn't as sheer as organza. The batting motifs will not be so visible and the color of background fabric will be more faded.

Hi Coleen,

Here it is the technique

http://cadouri-din-inima.blogspot.co...nou-quilt.html

The first layer of the quilt is organza. The white motifs under organza are made from batting. And under these there are 3 layers (cotton fabric, batting and a backing)- like in an ordinary quilt.
