Gezzzzzzzzzzz...why why
Help appreciated

There are more seams in the ones that are too big. Are you sewing less than a scant 1/4". The pattern may be off, too. I found that with my second quilt. Check the math. Size of block x number of blocks, minus 1/2 for each seam will give you the projected size. An unfinished block will be 1/2 inch bigger than a finished one, so a 3" block will be 3 1/2 before sewing into the bigger block.

You need to check your seam allowances. When you are adding lots of small pieces together you need to be very accurate. Even being out by 1/16" will make a difference. With 1/16" over eight seams that adds up to 1/2" out which is a lot.

Good work! and I know your frustration. I am quite new to quilting. I have not finished my first quilt yet. I can't agree more with what was already said above... learning process and time consuming. May be it is also called experience lolll
I guess that's how we learn. Your're doing a great job. Lots of seams and points and very nicely done! don't give up!
