    I love that quilt, and the gift is soooo from the heart. I think the label idea is perfect. What a wonderful birthday gift.

    I agree with the label idea. If you can't do it yourself, spend a few dollars and get one done with an embroidery machine on material that's close in colour to the fabric you are patching. Make it look special. No Sharpie markers for this treasure!!

    I am liking the label idea, and I think I will do that and bring it to a place that does embroidery. I wish we knew how old it was but unfortunately we don't. I took some close ups of the fabric---any one have any idea when they would be from?
