Where can I find these fabrics? Would love to make a GS quilt for my granddaughter.
I was a brownie and Jr. scout... Now, I'm a mixed level troop leader.
My daughters were brownie scouts but had a bad experience with cookie sales so they didn't continue...
My granddaughter is in her 6th year of scouting and has just earned her bronze award. She's going for GOLD.

I just love the new GS fabric. DD was in scouts and I was her leader. I had 21 girls in my troop. I was also a neighborhood chair for 4 years. I saved all of DD's badges and always thought about putting them on a quilt. I might have to dig that bag out of the closet and make that quilt.

We have a long tradition with Girl Scouts in our family too. I started in Brownies when I was in kindergarten - I guess that was 1956. I went through Juniors. Then my daughter started in Brownies in 1989, and went through Juniors. My grandaugher is now in Juniors. I love the updated and original fabrics together. They just look so comfortable together! I love your idea, and think it will be a great looking quilt.

Did you use their free pattern to make yours? - pictures please. I was wanting to make it with my GD this summer so it will be a project in wait for a while. (Not that I don't have enough to do! I've got at least 3 or 4 more projects I'm working on right now.) And I need it to be an easy pattern for her - she's only 6.

My mom mentioned that she was a scout years ago too, and I remember that she was also my Junior leader for a couple of years. I hope that my daughter decides to be a leader for her little one. It sure has made for some wonderful memories for us all.

I'm partial to the originals, but they are all fabulous. Do you have a design in mind, or need to find one?

I think I'm going to use the free pattern at http://www.robertkaufman.com - I need an easy one to work with my GD.

Oh, what memories. I was a Brownie and Junior leader, too, with my youngest daughter. We had some wonderful times!

I saw the Boy Scout fabric and am glad to see the Girl Scout fabric as well!

I know the quilt will be beautiful!

I've seen this line of fabrics and it sure does bring back memories. I started as a brownie and went thru high school being a girl scout and helping my leader with her brownie troup! I earned every badge that was avalable and wish I still had the sash they were sewed on.
