I found these two treasures tonight. I paid .99 for the fabric basket that is all hand sewn together and 1.99 for the thread holder. I couldn't be happier.

The strangest part is.. I have my paths I always take in the thriftstores. I never go down the strange isle the basket was on.. I was glancing down and it just caught the corner of my eye. I will never skip isles again... Will look down every one! Too lucky when that is not one of my usual isles.

What great finds. Love the basket! It's good that handmade things can be appreciated the second time around. I have a feeling lots of my quilts will end up in the thrift store!
