I've been thinking about this idea for quite a while so after I had spent this morning tidying my sewing space I decided to try out my idea. Which was to see if my rulers would fit & sit in place on a piece of disused decking I've had just sitting around in our garage.
You can imagine just how pleased I was when I discovered that my rulers fit perfectly into the grooves - so I thought I'd share the idea here with you all. :D :D
To think I almost purchased one at the Malvern Quilt Show too - they were asking £25 for one. Now off to spend that £25 on some more fabrics at the weekend YIPPEE!!!!!

Well who's a clever girl then, I LOVE thrifty ideas, I use a pan lid holder for mine, all the square ones go on point and I have a little hook to take my long one :D :D :D

Thanks for the great idea. Off to the hardware store to look for scraps!

How creative. And now you have that extra money to spend on fabric. :) :)

That's really neat, Tisha. I have one that Pete made me, but I have way too many rulers to fit into it. I am going to have him make me a second one or a bigger one. I like your idea. Thanks for sharing.

Great idea! I don't have any decking like that, but I got a file holder from the office supply store and it does okay. Keeps them together and upright.
