Default My turn to share!

Hi! I have been stalking this messge board for a LONG time and thought it was about time that I share a few of my pics! About 20 years ago, I took a quilting class. We made sampler blocks, but even tho, I loved the whole process, I never finished the quilt. (Life just got too busy). About 2 years ago, I decided to finish that quilt and have been piecing (and stalking this board) ever since. I have learned SOOOOO much from all of you and many of my quilts have been inspired by you! THANK YOU!

This is the sampler quilt I made. I havent learned how to free hand quilt yet. I am terrified I will ruin a top if I try! So until I get my nerve up to try, I send my tops to Rhonda Dranter in Illinois. Even after I learn SOMEDAY, I will still send my favorite quilts to her...everything she does is perfect and beautiful!

Glad you have quit "lurking" and are now showing. That is a beautiful quilt and looks pretty professional from here. Nice sharp points....Welcome and please share more. I have sewn. but not quilted, all my life and have learned so much in the past year on this board. Freezer paper and glue, who knew???

That lovely quilt must surely inspire you to make more. It is beautiful. I am not getting along with free motion quilting very well at all and can understand your nervousness. However I like traditional straight line quilting and like the results very much. Good luck with the FMQ.
