I asked for ideas for quilt patterns using fat quarters, and Turning Twenty was a popular response, so I bought one of the Turning Twenty books, and I made the original pattern! I had 4 each of 5 different fabrics. Its really bright, but I love the chinese lanterns, the cherry blossoms and the bamboo. This is just the top. I am hoping to get to a fabric store this weekend to buy the fabric for the backing and binding. I will be taking it to a long-arm quilter to have it quilted. Thanks for all your help and suggestions. I love everyone on this board!! :)

Very pretty. I've done a couple quilts with that pattern and both have turned out very well. I love the colors that you chose for it.

I love the turning twenty patterns. They are fast but a great way to showcase a fabric you really like. I think they look even better once they are quilted.
