Default Foster Kids Camp quilt #1

As title says, this is the first quilt top I have made for this organization. A very easy and quick pattern. I didn’t know what to make with this Superhero fabric so I looked for a 2 color pattern, and cut it out yesterday. I also had the red and really didn’t want to buy any fabric. The pattern was a free download from fabric fulling it’s destiny called 2 color interpretation, I guess. I omitted the last two rows, but I added a 4 inch cut border to bring it to 58 x 74. I will be quilting it myself, after I get batting and backing, with just a free hand meander.

Today was my regular sew group day and when I got home, I had a package with fat quarters and other nice pieces from a member here, to make more tops for these foster children. Yea! I will be posting as I go but this is the first of these. I have 4 more QOV to make right now, too. Thanks for looking and commenting on my work. -Toogie

2 color quilts don't usually appeal to me, but this one really does. I have some fabrics that would look perfect with this pattern. Thanks for sharing.

I love your quilt! Thanks for the link. My cousin just found out that she will need a baby boy blanket! This pattern is perfect! I'm waiting until she plans the nursery theme.

This is the best 2 color quilt I've seen yet. Thanks for sharing.
