After a sewing hiatus of about 9 months (remember, I am in school fulltime), I finally sat down this past weekend and made myself this Bow Tucks tote (without the ties) and this cute little clothespin bag to hold all my pins.

I have a great clothesline with about a 30 foot span and 4 lines total. Sometimes I fill the lines all up, so I have alot of pins and needed a bigger bag.

I have had the flower fabric for about a year. I just love the colors. The button was an old one my mom used when she made my sis a robe back in the late 50's early 60's. I thought it went well with the fabric.

I had lots of fun making both of these, but especiallly the bag. Hope you like them.
Be patient - it may take a few minutes to post all pics.

What adorable fabric you have for your clothespin bag. Where did you find it?

    Great for both!

You just brought back memories ... My Mom used to have clothespin bags like yours, except she would use one of childhood dresses.

I really cannot remember where I got the fabric for the clothespin bag. I have had it about three years.

I wish I had about three to four more yards as I want to make a curtain to go above my washer/dryer so the cats will stop jumping up there.

Glad you like them. I had so much fun making the bag I think I will make another and enter it in the state fair.

Two useful projects!! The fabric for the clothespin bag is perfect and I love those bow tucks with all of the pockets. I'm a newly retired teacher and I remember how sweet the summer months are. Enjoy your break.
