Default My version of a Christmastwister quilt

I recently went to a quilting weekend with my sister and sister-in-law, and my sister was lucky enough to win an 8 inch twister ruler. AND she let me bring it home to use first. So, I dug out my Christmas fabrics and found 3 different light fabrics and 5 each of the red and green. The first picture is the beginning quilt top. I had seen a twister on the board, where the gal had used light fabric between the darker fabrics and I really liked the effect, so that is what I did.

LOL...I am right now taking a brief break from putting together a twister quilt. So your thread intrigued me and I love your results! I like that you showed it before and after twisting.

beautiful holiday quilt! I like the contrast of the bright and light fabrics and the consistent border. The twister is really a fun tool.
