During our Mother's day gathering at my sisters, I found out that she still had the very 1st quilt I made. I'm not sure if its a good thing or not, they use is now when they go camping, I bet this thing weights 10 lbs. of course I knew nothing about cotton. It was my wedding present to her and being broke I used what was given to me, very heavy material suede's and valor, uggggg!! It's hard to believe its been 27 years!!

Quilts don't have to be cotton. It is fun to have other fabrics. Ten pounds=wow. It would feel like a hug.

If they are still finding a use for it after all this time, it is definitely a VERY GOOD THING!

I'm sure 10 pounds of quilt are keeping them warm!
    Thanks for sharing your story!
