Default My very first mini doll quilt

This is what I did during this snowy weekend. My first doll quilt. My husband is making our neighbors youngest daughter, Lily a cradle. I decided to make her a quilt for her dolly to go with it. Since her older sister, Sydney has claimed pink as her favorite, I made Lily's doll quilt in aqua and white. The butterfly is three D embroidered. I made the quilt using strips of scraps and the backing is a light yellow soft fleece.

Thanks for looking

Very cute. I have to make doll quilts for my GD's. Now that the holidays are over I have more time. What size is that?

Its 15x18 I made it that size because the piece I had for the backing would work and it will fit in the cradle my husband is making. Besides, her doll is little. Lily is only 15 months old. When Sydney and I make her dolly quilt I will probably have her make it bigger because her doll is an 18 inch. So, I'd go 18x24.
