    Default My very first quilt...

    Hi everybody, greetings from North-Europe.

I am getting my first grandchild, so I decided to make a baby-quilt for (her?)...

I just bought a Husqvarna embroidery-machine + software, so this a good way to train with it at the same time...

Hardly zero hours of sewing, I yet like very much working with fabrics, too much fun!

As a becoming grandfather, I was proud that my daughter accepted this quilt

If this is your first quilt, then I'm not ever going to even bother finishing my first one!

You did a beautiful quilt and your grandbaby is going to love being hugged by you via the quilt.

    Good for you!

Well, you don´t know how many times I picked and unpicked my terrible sewing. If you look at the lines, I have a lot to learn about making good straight seams...so I strongly provoke everybody to start quilting, practice makes one a master...(I hope). Have fun and enjoy.

This is wonderful! Your granddaughter will be so happy to have a quilt made by her Papa.

Even though you got tortured with sewing, and unsewing, it came out very pretty.
