That is awesome...I have a lot of doilies my mom made and have them in a box. I may have to do something with some of them....

Just have to point out that this is a hankerchief with a crocheted edge. I grew up with doilies and they are all crocheted. Not just borders. At least according to my German mother. I still remember having to move them all to dust the furniture and the design left behind where they layed on the furniture. We had every surface covered in these and dresser scarfs. I remember my mom starching the doilies and pinning them on a board to dry. She also still has a pack of beautiful hankies in the drawer. Thanks for the memories and for working with and preserving this history no matter what we each call them. Great job

I never would have thought to combine crochet with quilting. That is really different. Beautiful work!

Doily is beautiful. I like how you put border on it, really shows it off. I would bind it with a dark green like the edge of doily.
