Default My Weekend Project
I'm working on two Big Block quilts for my parents in the beautiful colours of the ocean. I have made them in a single bed size so that they can be used individually on a king size bed. This weekend I finished the top of the one and just have the border to put on the other before quilting. Initially, I was going to do the sashing in a sand colour to go with the beach 'theme' but then I chose white instead. I'm glad I did as it makes the colours pop and the quilt feels really fresh!

What a crisp cool color theme. It would make me very happy to have that on my bed. Great job. They will love their quilt.

What a terrific quilt you made that will give any room a very calming spa like effect. Great choice in using the white.

The colors are very calming and the white does enhance the quilt.
