hahaha! That is too funny, I hadn't even noticed that! Maybe I should have looked a bit closer at my already large screen. Maybe a bigger one is in order!

It is usually recommended to iron the fabric to freezer paper prior to signing to make them more stable. also if you do pre-cut blocks - I suggest putting quarter inch tape around the edges to prevent people from signing in the seam allowance. Or if you want to piece the back first (but NOT attached to the top, you could iron freezer paper to the entire back (paper would be in peices).
That is an awesome idea! Since I am somewhat of a noob, I will do just that I know about the fabric markers, I have a whole can full as I use them on the parrot quilts to draw the eyes on. Doing that will also allow me to take it for show & tell on the 11th...if my sister doesn't nag me to get her quilt...lol! I'll freezer paper & tape

It's fabulous and I love your idea for the backing.

Strange! When I saw Berkie's "disappointing", I actually read "disappearing". Then when I read the other posts, I was wondering where they got that from, and had to go back and read the post again. Sometimes my eyes play tricks on me. I read what I thought it said because I knew the pattern.
But I really love the quilt and the borders, too.
