What a gorgeous quilt and beautiful story to go along with it. We never know how our love of quilting can make a difference in someone else's life. I doubt there's one person here that hasn't looked at a finished quilt and saw something they'd do differently.

Beautiful just doesn't seem to describe your project very well! I'd say you did a very professional job! Time and patience is evident here. A true treasure for sure! Love it

Love your beautiful quilt! What a fabulous story. I also had a similar event happen that started me on my quilting journey. I'm forever grateful for this wonderful gift too.

Oh, that's so fun! I must admit, I've told my husband that if I die before he does, I want him to pass it on in the same way. Frankie S, though I never met her, enriched my life beyond measure.

What a great background story to your quilt. You did a wonderful job with the color choices, the piecing and the quilting!
