Default "Nativity" from Paper Panache pattern

Since it is the Christmas Season I wanted to show my paper pieced "Nativity" again, for those who
may have missed it last year.
This was a very difficult pattern for my first paper pieced project, but well worth all the work.
I had to purchase a second pattern to finish it because I made so many mistakes that I had to redo.

Looks great! For my first paper piecing I chose the New York Beauty block. I've gotten 10 blocks made and have used the seam ripper on all 10. haha I really have enjoyed the experience and plan on making more blocks. I just have to finish a quilt for my cousin's daughter for Christmas then I can get back to playing with my fabric. I found some old stationary I had stashed away to use for the paper. It's so old that it is brittle. It ran through my copier just fine and tears off easily when the block is finished. I didn't know if I would like Paper Piecing, but I do. I had to learn to think backwards but I think I have the hang of it now. Thank you for showing your work.

Your quilt is so nice. You did a great job on it. I am so impressed especially for it being your first PP project. That is a skill I hope to learn someday.
