Default 'The Natural' - My Latest Finish

Just a few pictures to share of my latest finish. I pieced this top back in
2007 and only now that I have my Sweet Sixteen sitdown was able to get it
done! The piecing was not my best work, but the quilting really helped to
get it flattened down where bias edges had stretched. I've learned so much
since piecing this quilt, the biggest being the value of doing a good job
when piecing. It was a fun quilt to quilt and gave me lots of opportunity to
practice my FMQing and ruler work and try some new designs. The finished
size is 100" x 116" and fits our King sized bed nicely. It certainly
presented a challenge in managing the bulk, but practice helps with that
too! It's not my favourite quilt, but it's okay. Its quilted almost entirely
with Glide Thread, which was new to me, but I really like it. I used a Warm
and Natural cotton batting and find it a little stiffer than I'd like, but
it seems to be softening up with use. Will try something different next time
I think. I spray basted it with 505 and ditched it entirely before FMQing. I
think that's it. Thanks for taking a peek .

Your quilt is one of the prettiest quilts have seen . Did you do the quilting on your machine or was it done on a long arm.?
