This is a quilt top I'm making for a long-time co-worker (male) who is moving. I just want a throw-size so don't want a huge border. I can't decide. I'm thinking 1" black border to frame it - and a black binding with something in between. Suggestions appreciated.

The quilt top

I may be odd, but I would try a deep dark brown and see how it looks rather than the black.

Now that I see the pics, I'm thinking a dark brown would be better, too. I did try to find one, but no luck at JoAnns, I'll need to go to another store, I guess.
I added option #6....not sure if it's TOO much border, though.
