dont laugh at the quilt.lol but what color thread would you use to quilt and how?

I would use a dark grey. As long as you want your quilting to show. If not, use a light grey.

I love your quilt! What are you putting for the back? I would coordinate your thread with the backing so the quilting pattern will show up.

I think it's a really nice top. For the quilting, maybe an all over meander/stippling

You could do all over stippling or you could do diagonals so that it looks like an X in each box, or you could do square in square in square in each square so that you have 3 or 4 different sized squares in each one...or...Hmmm....

Honestly, I'd use a natural color (mine is actually called "natural") or a cream color. Looks beautiful!
