Default Need help figuring out this quilt

I saved the picture of this quilt from the QB a while ago. I want to make one for my new granddaughter but cant figure it out. I want it large enough for a crib quilt which I believe should be 50" by 53". It is making my head hurt. Do you think the strips are cut 2.5" or 3"?

If the person who made this quilt has the name of the pattern that would be great.
Thank you so much for your help.
Pat

i'd say the strips are 3", because once you deduct the 1/4" seam allowance , then ad borders , you'd have your 50" wide , just let the strips going cross wise take up the slack of the rest of the inches needed to get you to 50, hope this helps you

I 'll bet that the strips are cut 2.5" wide. Figuring the layout is easy by counting the strips in each section. There are 7 strips in the upper right quadrant and five in the upper left, so if the strips are 2.5" wide the upper left quadrant is 10x14". There are 17 strips in the lower right quadrant, so the width is probably 34". That makes the lower left 34x10", which is the same as the quad above it. The yellow ribbon looks to be 4" wide (cut at 4.5") and the border appears to be about the same width as all of the strips or perhaps just a little narrower, perhaps 1.5", but you can make it whatever you want. I think that this quilt probably measures 46x56". You can adjust the measurements to suit your needs by adding or subtracting strips, or changing the width of the strips, the border, or even the yellow ribbon. Have fun!!

Looks like a beautiful way to use a jelly roll, with 4" or 5" strips added to make the yellow sashings. If that's the case, you can just add as many strips as you need to make the size you want. Thanks for posting the photo - I missed it the first time around too.

They look like 2.5 from a jelly roll but you could probably do it with any width strips.
