After seeing n2scraplyr boxy stars I had to makeit my sec after my string x. I used dark sashing because that`s what I had.
Also tired of the box of ears growing so I made these pinwheels. Don`t know what I`ll do with them yet.

I just discovered this website a few days ago and am so excited. I have so many scraps that I need to get control of. I love the string-x quilt and was thinking of appliqueing flowers in the centers between the x's. I'd love to see a picture of how yours turned out. You could make the three block piece into a wall hanging and the two individual blocks into pillows or just frame them in a cute frame and hang them on the wall.

I'm so impressed that your corners all match up. I'm not good with triangles at all (yet). Nice job!

Your Boxy Stars turned out wonderful! I love it and the dark sashing looks great! Thanks for the PM and yes I'll post my boxy stars again here for others to see. Your string quilt looks fantastic. I just love those colors you used! You have a great talent for putting colors together. Here's the pic of my boxy stars again. Thanks for the suggestion! :D :D

BTW, are you going to make your BS a lap or bed size quilt? I love your pinwheels also!!
