I won't to put this quilt in our little fair this year. and need some serious comments on the quilt and something to put in the 4 white blocks in the middle and the half white squares around the edges. I would like to name it lost in the black forest. do you think that is too much? i have black/white/grey/silver thread that should be pretty on that white. ty

Now that's a unique quilt. I love the idea of the silver thread. Very Chic!

I really love the name you're planning to use! It is very beautiful! Since I've never entered anything in a fair, I have no idea of what needs to be done. Good luck when you do enter it!

I don't know if this helps you choose a quilting pattern, but the title makes me think of 'Little Red Riding Hood' or 'Hansel and Gretel' --- blackbirds come to mind, also. hhhmmmm ..... maybe quilt small footprints (or animal paw prints or a trail of leaves....) wandering from tree to tree. Maybe these suggestions will help generate other ideas. Good luck!
