This is the unfinished "farm quilt" I'm making for my 2 yr old great-grandaughter. She loves farm animals & visits to apple farms. It's easy to please a 2 yr old. I totally made this whole quilt as I went along, and it's the 2nd applique project I've ever attempted, but I'm pretty happy with it so far. BUT, I don't know what would look good as a border and the color for the binding. Any ideas here????

Maybe the "happy' red or yellow from the apliques. To make it bright and cheery/

I'm a fan of red, and there seem to be touches of red in many of the prints, so I'd say use red for the border and the binding.

The solid green under the red barn. Do two or three borders of green, a plaid or stripe.
