Been trying for a month to ID this machine which will need a bobbin holder and plate cover over it. That's how I got it.
Any help is greatly appreciated. tia
this should go in vintage section -I know so please move it.

This is a beautiful machine, I'm wondering about the bobbin in this machine.
Does anyone know if these are the shuttle bobbins? and are they difficult to work?

if you go to singerco.com you can put in the model number and track it

get the serial number from under the gold seal and go to this web site. it should tell you what you have and when she was born

I did contact Singer who asked for a pic because these were made in yrs that their records were lost. Sent them pics now that I learnt how --but it's the weekend so reply may take few days.
Yes, it takes the long shuttle and machine is electric with champion motor not a Singer motor. some vintage users easily recognize the models.

Doesn't the model 27 have the bobbin winder lower on the post? I thought it was the 28 that had the bobbin winder up by the wheel.

All I could get was in was made in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada in 1924
