    I would put a narrow dark border than make a scrappy wider border with the colors you used in the center. I would want to make sure all the felt is covered to protect it. We have a pool table in the warehouse here at our business and I think it would be a good idea to make a quilt to cover it. Thanks for the idea.

    I think I would add one small border and a wider border with each corner of the large border having elastic like you have on the corner of fitted sheets to hold the cover on, this might work well. Good luck! Gerbie

    I'd use solid green "sides" and applique pool balls, cues, etc on it.

    I appreciate all the good ideas. I'm going to pull from a couple of them and cross my fingers. I've already talked to my quilting lady, and she's all excited about getting her long arm on it. I'll post a pic when it's all done.
