    I have five rows done on my cathedral windows. I am using different prints of black for the windows. I note the places where the points connect look a little messy. I was thinking of sewing white buttons in all of those areas. What do you think? Will it detract from the pattern? I will need a lot of buttons, and not sure if I want to make that purchase until I get some input. Here are some of the quilts I have done.

    Do you want to share???? Just kidding. They are fantastic. How long have you been working on these?

    My beginner opinion about messy corners (I've had my share) is if you are not entering it into a quilt show, it just shows that it is hand made and not made in a factory somewhere. It gives it character!

    Your quilts are lovely! I really love scrappy & especially like the top quilt.

    I have a tutorial on making Cathedral Windows that might or might not help you. You can usually tack those meeting corners into submission with a little careful placement of thread. Good luck to you.
